With over 30000 members worldwide IChemE is the international hub for chemical, biochemical and process engineers and related professionals. From accreditation of degree courses to awarding the professional benchmark Chartered Chemical Engineer, IChemE is committed to maintaining the standards and furthering the profession.

The IMA exists to support the advancement of mathematical knowledge and its applications and to promote and enhance mathematical culture in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, for the public good. The IMA is also the professional and learned society for qualified and practising mathematicians. IMA is incorporated by Royal Charter and holds the right to award the Chartered Mathematician designation.

The IMA has around 5000 members. 40% of members are employed in education (schools through to universities), and the other 60% work in commercial and governmental organisations.

The IET is Europe’s largest professional engineering organisation with over 150,000 members worldwide ranging from students to highly qualified professional engineers. As a qualifying body for Professional Engineers, the IET sets and maintains standards for the education and training of professional engineers and accredits degree courses throughout the world.
